Hey all, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I know I had way too much to eat, and will pay dearly. Anyhow, I just had to post this one of Conrad, look, his hair is growing. I realize it is just in one spot, but I couldn't help post it. I have been having withdrawls since Wed. noon. I get to see him tomorrow morning, yea. Ok, this will probably all you hear from me til Thurs. as I will be with Conrad. Have a great week. 

Hey all, I know you will probably get sick of me posting photos of Conrad at some point, but I can't help it, he is just such a cutie. This is the expression I get from him every morning when he wakes up. He only fusses when his tummy or gums are bothering him. The rest of the time he is just a happy baby. His grandparents are visiting with him for the next four days so I won't get to see him til Monday. I will probably suffer withdrawal until then. Everyone have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

  Hey All! Went to see the Twilight movie and was not disappointed. I got a bigger kick out of my granddaughter having such a  great time. I got "Thank you grammy" all the way home.  What can I say. I became all teary eyed when she asked me to sign her Senior Memory Book. All the comments her teachers, friends, and family wrote, especially her mom, made it very difficult to see what I was writing. By the time I finished writing in my other granddaughters book, I was a blubbering mess. I can't believe both will be 18 in Dec. 20th and 26th. It wasn't that long ago they were just babys.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I know a lot of people may be experiencing a shortage due to the economy, just remember, that is what this day is for.....to be thankful.  Catch you later.

 

This is the little man that I babysit. Yes, he keeps me busy all day, all week. This is my favorite photo. He is the best baby. My grandnephew,Conrad. He stole my heart the day he was born.

Well, I have finished reading all the Twilight books, and in my opinion the movie better be equally fantastic. Only 7 more days and my daughter, granddaughter and I will be going to see the movie. I have seen the trailers, and the advertisements and read reviews, I will keep you notified of the outcome of the movie. If anyone sees it before I do, please be a dear and don't tell me about it.

I have been keeping my grandnephew the last couple of days so if I haven't gotten to your spaces please bear with me. It takes a while. Be advised you have all been missed. Have a great weekend and will get there as soon as I can. Hugs.

Hey all, just taking a moment to do a little grandma bragging. The newest picture is a gift from my 9 year old granddaughter, Haley. She drew this for me and on the back wrote,"I miss you". I am so proud how she incorporated the dragonfly and flower from the pictures I did for her and her sister. I think she has talent. Of course she gets it from me. Those that know the story about three of my grandchildren will appreciate the bragging. For those that don't, it is a very long, sad story. Anyway, just wanted to share. Have a great weekend everyone.

 Hey all, for all the people who voted for Obama,  HURAY! For all those who voted for McCain, sorry. We will see if the change is for the good or bad. I pray for good. My eleven year grandson was really excited. He identifies with Obama. He too is mixed, his father has abandoned him, and he is more or less raised by his grandmother,(me). He has been floundering in his studies at school, but now has a new outlook on life. "If he can do it, grammy, do you think something great like that can happen to me?" How do you answer that?  "Of course, sweetie, anything is possible." I for one voted for Obama, thanks to him my grandson no longer hates himself and blames himself for his father leaving. He has started to bring his grades up, and is trying harder. My grandson is my Main Man.
